First Stretch Goal Unlocked!
almost 6 years ago – Sat, Jul 21, 2018 at 10:14:32 PM

Hey all!

We have unlocked the colorization of the maps! Great work! We are super stoked to see these cards it ultra high def, 4K UHD colorization. Ok, so maybe not quite that radical, but still, it's gonna be cool!

You all are amazing and we thank you so much for getting us this far! Keep sharing and lets get more of these goals unlocked!

Poll Results
almost 6 years ago – Tue, Jul 17, 2018 at 08:51:52 AM

Greetings everyone!

So we've let this simmer for a week to cultivate a good pool of opinions on the color selection, and the watercolor option is the winner, but not by a whole lot. Here is the final total:

Option 1: 2

Option 2: 19

Option 3: 17

Here's a larger sample of the watercolor option (not final work, but this is what we are looking to achieve). It's also important to note that this is not our work, just a style that we found on the interwebs, really liked and want to mimic. Not exactly sure who the credit goes to for this image.

We anticipate that the colorization will be the biggest lift in this project and plan to get to work on getting things squared away as quickly as possible.

We're just about $400 short of breaking our first stretch goal so keep up the good work all! Please share this project with folks you think would benefit from it!

Thank you all!

Funded! & color poll
almost 6 years ago – Sun, Jul 15, 2018 at 05:15:10 PM

You all are amazing. Shortly after our last update yesterday (seriously, like 20 minutes) we funded! We are looking forward to seeing what stretch goals get unlocked over the next couple of weeks.

Poll Time! YAY

We are considering several different styles of colorization for these cards and would love your input on it as well. So lets start with the towns. Here are some samples/examples of what we have in mind. What do you think?

Just let us know your preference in the comments below! We'll let it simmer for a week and let you know what the results are!

Once again, thank you all so much! Please remember to share this project with your friends, family, neighbors and old school teachers!

Let's Get Digital... Digital...
almost 6 years ago – Fri, Jul 13, 2018 at 10:25:44 PM

OK, that was a bad 80's song reference, but fun :D

We have had several requests to make these maps available in digital formatting so that they can be printed off and written on or used on a digital table top. That being said, we are pleased to now offer the Towns and Dungeons deck in digital format.

These "digital" decks will be in PNG format and optimized to print on a standard 8.5"x11" piece of paper so you can have plenty of room for your labeling. Each digital deck is $8.00 and will include the 52 maps. Digital Decks will also be available for stretch goals as they are unlocked.

As I write this we're just under $100 from our funding goal! W00t! Thank you guys so much for your support in this project! We are super stoked to get these maps out to you and some of the stretch goals as well.

For the colorization stretch goal, we'll hold a little vote to determine what style you all like the best and move forward from there.

We'd like to get rid of all the map ideas floating around on paper in the office and in our heads, so please share this with your gaming friends and communities so that we can unlock some of these stretch goals!

Here's another map sample.
